i guess one must mention the walk the line premiere. apparently i turned up to early and got too drunk and, well, i guess i ran the line. fun bar and food. paul mac was there. i gave him a cuddle . so was peter phelps. i made pat give him a cigarette. we were speaking about acting and i mentioned method acting and he said he was a metho actor which i found quite witty and then promptly told everyone - including you! it is really beautiful down at macquaries chair and i would like to thank the people that invited me. i had a marvelous time. yes, i did.
went and saw get rich or die trying and that was incredibly entertaining if only for the fact that aribisi from oz was in it then lord of war, i think what's his name? um, not ethan hawke, the other guy. oh yeah, jared leto. he is really good looking and he is not very convincing as anything but someone that is good looking. oh to be cursed jared, orlando, you know who you are.
heard the magic numbers do crazy in love on jjj yesterday. it was pretty good but the announcer was kind of well, "i saw you at SXSW and norway and now here and i have seen you so many times and you are just the best and you make me smile and i love you and you are the best band in the world kind of thing". i agree, it was kind of special they did the cover but my god i felt uncomfortable listening to her, let alone being in the band sitting in the studio. ouch.
so pat had his party saturday night and i played my itunes and people danced and no one complained. someone requested like a prayer but i played good vibrations instead. sorry.
didn't make it to big day out but saw a bit of it on V. i must say that i thought faker were very very good. went and saw kings of leon at the enmore but got a bit bored and when i went to talk caleb later he gives me a classic i don't like you and i don't want to talk to you sentence... "the doctor has told me to rest my throat so sorry i can't talk to you"... i loved it! i am using it. well no, i talk to much but i thought it put me in my place right and proper. thanks to hayden for the ticks and if you around annandale this saturday you should pop in to his responsible rock gig. i wasn't invited because apparently i don't rock responsibly. sad face.
went and saw mercy arms at candy's and they were fantastic and i loved them and i danced and lifted the drummers hi hats.
toddles was there as was hawker and BT and kath and you know, all the people that are somebody to someone that think they are but aren't but really look good. yeah.
i got in trouble for taking my drink into the bathroom.
i think they thought i going to try and glass someone.

been writing some new spoonie songs and my fave at the moment is called drunk as fuck.

my thanks to ramesh for his overtime working on the demos.
we are off to play wilderloo this saturday which i believe is 8 hours west of adelaide.
we have never played there before and we haven't done a gig since new year so i will be a great bucket of fun.
hope i remember the words and all the dance moves.
