NEWS READERS OF THE WORLD UNITE!!!
greetings from sunny san diego california. how is australia? am sure many people are happy about the socceroos kicking englands behind. ahh yes. nothing feels better than kicking englands behind indeed. went down to mexico yesterday puerto nuevo! bought myself a loverly poncho and accordian along with a spectacular wrestling mask. all up, i look like a complete fucking freak! yeeha!
went to a club last week called deluxe which had hollywood stars there like kick (i was in garage days) gurry! joel (i was in star wars) edgerton! heath ledger! owen wilson! demi moore! stephen dorff! and my favourite, paris hilton! what a great fucking night that ended up being with yours truly somehow scamming my way backs to heaths house and playing piano and generally making a complete cunt of myself! yeeha! oh yeah, wes from american beauty was there and he was cool. as was heath, thanks for your hospitality playa.
then it was star shoes and not many hollywood stars were there except i did meet alex from phantom planet and he seemed very nice but wasn't drinking so that is immediatly suspicious... hmmm, what else? oh went and saw some great comedy at the comedy store, saw a crap band called frou frou at the roxy, tried really hard to get supergrass tickets for spaceland but failed so came to san diego instead where have been eating tacos and generally enjoying being the fuck out of l.a.
unwritten law are playing this friday down here but don't know whether i will stay down for that long. have gots to get back to australia sometime!

p.s plenty of songs of the week, the drugs don't work / verve has been a good little sing along at some parties. clocks / coldplay has been keeping me sad and anything by michael jackson as the media is going crazy over him at the moment oh, actually not anything, lets say pre 87! peace, international respect...

aloha from high terror alert u.s.a where people are scared because the government tell them to be!!! woo fuckin hoo. i don't really understand placing civilians on a high terror alert. like what the fuck are we meant to do? fucking george bush. what an asshole.
so, my daredevil premiere invite must have got lost in the mail as i ditinctly remember sitting down with ben and j.lo last week and being specifically invited to the whole shebang. oh well, ended up at a karaoke bar charles bukowski used to frequent and all was loverly. it was also a pity kasey chambers couldn't put me on the door for her show at the el ray. i got snubbed by australia's queen of pop! oh, well, i ended up seeing carla werner at viper who was dead set brilliant in a jeff buckley kind of way and puts those other imposters (you know who you are) to shame. briefly spotted the girl star from 6 feet under at the cinema the other day and apart from my j.lo and ben run in it has all been quiet in planet hollywood.
of course, by now you all know that phil spector is a murderer. always thought he was kind of creepy. i hear the big days out went great. fuck i wish i was there for that. aussie band jet have also given me an official snubbing. i think its the, we wear flares and clown shoes and you don't so you can't kick it with us in l.a kind of snub, which is actually fine as i wouldn't want to disrupt the three ringed circus of a record they are about to make anyways. the living end arrive in town this week and hopefully they will be nice enough to give us a call and we will catch up on a beer and bitch about everything else there is left to bitch about. if thats at all possible. russo leaves for new york tomorrow to do some t.v shows in support of u.l's new acoustic record and mel (the nanny from the osbournes) gets into town from new york tomorrow so we will hook up and do some more hollywood stunts! until then fearless newsreader, adios!

NEWS READERS OF THE WORLD UNITE!
coming to you live from sunny los angeles california, it has been 3 days of complete obliteration served warm from our good friend scott russo. left heathrow last thursday, (i think) and got picked up from lax by scott who proceded to drive to the best sushi restaurant in l.a and sake was served and it was great to be out of london to be honest. then went and saw some solo artist at house of blues then on to some crazy hollywood nightclub where all these movie stars hang out. (i asked leonardo dicaprio for a light, he said he didn't have one) also was introduced to the drummer from korn but he was a complete cock smoker so i didn't give him props. ended up back at scotts where more noise was made and about 1000 songs written and then the property manager came over and evicted him so instead of being depressed about that we decided to check into the standard hotel on sunset where more decandance happened then ended up at viper room to see some dodgy bands and then back to standard where more songs were written and general craziness. woo hoo! on check out of standard bumped into ben stiller and delivered my best SNAP! possible and he wasn't very impressed by that but who gives a fuck huh? what is going on in australia? was the big day out of it fun? i wish i had been there for that. its only the 2nd one i have missed.

p.s song of the week would have to be 1969 by the vines. (heard some interesting storys about those boys not being particulalry nice about certain aussie bands whilst abroad, he-he, makes me proud to be an aussie it does.)
