hey guys,
first week of tour is over and so far the damage report is mininal- phil is suffering a bad flu, but the rest of us have avoided any serious self inflicted sore heads!! west oz was great, we kicked off in freo which was a little bit rusty due to lack of match practice, then mandurah which was insanely hot and by the all ages in perth on sunday we were right at home on stage again!! we also did an instore where we bumped into the prolific guestbook contributer donnaspoon and friends. on sunday night we went to the loader gig and had a few beers with the jebs.
after a beaut flight back to syd on monday it was time to gear up for the metro over the next two nights. further went on first and were great in a really noisy kinda way- definitely check them out!! next night phil`s flew was really kicking in but he soldiered on , even handing out beers to the lucky few in the front row. yesterday we arrived in adelaide, tonight we play heavens.....

hey guys,
thanks for getting us to number 2 on the album charts, it`s really exciting and but more importantly i hope everyone that bought the album digs it!!it`s been a really hectic week with heaps of interviews and signings etc, but definitely lots of fun too... on monday we did live at the wireless, it is actually quite full on cause we wanted all the songs to sound really good as not many people had heard most of them. tuesday was in melbourne and we had a fun time at gaslight signing stuff(and bumping into captain karl from PACIFIER- shine on you crazy diamond!!), before heading off to rove. met mandy moore- we got a photo of the spoon and her, i let krisso sit beside her as he is hopelessly in love with mandy!! i also met nathan from big brother and got all the goss- told me a few spoon songs were getting sung in the house....we headed back to sydney on wednesday and on thursday took over channel V for a while- i revived the long lost "ankles" move thanks to the now defunct princess signpost- i will have to get it permanently out of retirement for the tour!! ok folks, take it easy and see you on tour!!
