hey kids,
after another stunningly exciting arias has come and gone it is now time to stake stock of what is good and bad about the oz music industry`s night of nights. firstly the bad- what`s with an after party that makes my loungeroom look like wembley arena? fuck could it get any more crowded? the last thing i wanna do is be squeezed up between the marketing manager of fucking sony and some ugly accountant from warners.... can`t we send them all to some other place where they can all bore themselves stupid and leave the rockstars to party in peace? mmm, i might have to suggest that to rove... other lowlights include LRB`s speech- fuck that was exciting wasn`t it? i was all choked up... guy sebastian thanking his clothes sponsor- you`re all class mate. tim freedmans political "wit"- your probably funny at a dinner party buddy. delta bloody goodrem- no one can be as nice as she pretends to be, and is it just me or is she looking more pauline hanson every day? god she makes me sick. unlike other years there seemed to be no major stand out fashion blunders though millsy`s hat was considered highly questionable by most observers. i think that will do with the bad , though an honorable mention must go to marty "the rock guy" from idol- could you stop walking by our fucking table trying to get noticed mate. either it was that or you`ve got a real weak bladder, i don`t know. ok, the good... well we all know who was good, don`t we. it`s much more fun to talk about the bad. but i will say it was good to see a rock band sweep the awards and a special mention to the bait who opened the night on fire, and the all stars at the end who closed it with an awesome version of evie. for those about to rock, we salute you.
cheers
joe
